Dedicated to creative freedom.
Robert Haussmann, inventor and CEO, directs all technical innovation at Nanotechniq.
Robert began his computer engineering career at Lockheed Martin SLRC, overseeing Y2K compliancy. Things took a more creative turn after serving as Art Director for the independent record label Cheetah Records in the early 90’s, and then relocated to Los Angeles in 2001. He immediately began working with Walt Disney Pictures & Television, first as Engineering Manager then as Principal Technology Strategist, where he helped the studio successfully transition from VHS-based home media distribution to DVD and Blu-ray. Robert’s ingenuity and skill for problem solving resulted in several innovative leaps for the company – including designing and building a semi-automated DVD & Blu-ray menu localization lab, and Primary Inventor of Disney’s Fast Play© DVD feature, which has been implemented on many Disney DVD releases.
In 2007, Robert began pursuing his passion for technology and media production independently as Nanotechniq. Robert specializes in digital intermediate and film finishing services geared toward both small independent and large-scale studios, and Nanotechniq has provided solutions for many titles from Relativity Studios, Lionsgate, Hyde Park Entertainment, Fox, and more.
Today, Nanotechniq continues to serve the moving picture artist, helping to advance creative freedom through experienced production knowledge and proprietary digital cinema and lighting innovations.
